Block holes in 351W Sportsman?
Hi All -
We have a 351W Sportsman block and have some questions about the threaded holes in the sides of the block. Our block has five threaded holes in the sides of the block near the bottom for what I assume are sensor fittings.
There is a hole on the drivers side near the back. This is the only place our knock sensor fits. Is this an appropriate use of this hole?
There is a hole on the passenger side rear. This is the only place our oil pressure sender fits. Is this what it's for?
The other three holes are toward the front on the passenger side. One goes vertically up into the block; the other two go horizontally into the block. Do you know what these are for?
We appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Jay
