Adjustable Seats?
I'm have purchased Unique 427SC built by Bruce Botti and the car is scheduled to be delivered at the end of next week. Of course, I'm already starting to think of all the projects to work on this winter and have a question on project "priority one".
My wife can't reach the peddles! She's around 5'3" and gosh darn it if she just simply can't drive and always has to be a passenger. Unfortunately, that's apparently not going to fly and it has been identified (by her, not me) as the primo, priority one project. The car has the seats bolted to directly to the frame, and I can't move it forward without affecting my driving position.
So the obvious answer seems to be to remove the seats and install adjuster rails. I'm worried though about the effect of raising the seat by putting it on rails. Has anyone done this in a Unique? Any concerns?
Thanks!
Jason
