Default Oil Cooler Mounting
All the oil coolers I see are mounted fittings up. This makes it near impossible to drain during oil changes. The only reason I see to mount it this way that I see is so that air couldn't accumulate in it? The coupe I'm working on has a scroatched motor and is full of metal flake oil. I'm not going to trust the cooler and am going to replace it. I'm looking for reasons not to mount it with the lines down for complete oil draining during an oil change.
