Default IT,S Alive!!!!!!

Well, Yesterday was the big day!!!! The engine lives! Other then a few small leaks which were fixed, I noticed a little oil dripping from the rear of the oil pan!! It's coming from between the oil pan and the bell housing plate. The block is a 1979 windsor. Any hints or tricks for a rear main seal????? Also does anyone have a quick way to get the engine to idle and timed while trying to keep it running at the same time.
I feel like an octopus... It fired right away and will run at about 2200 rpm. I'm running a holly
750cfm 4150 hp holly carb. I started with 1 turn out on the 4 idle mixture screws.
Thanks Steve

Which rear main did you use?? If it's the plastic (teflon??) ones, they will leak a LITTLE at start up sometimes until they seat. The rope variety should not leak at all. If it is bad, Lisle sells a nifty tool to replace the main seal in-car. PepBoys sells it, about $20 if I recall. Make sure you orient the seal the right way--it must go in a certain way or it will leak.
