The rear plug is the neutral safety switch; it has the wires(2") hanging off it with a plug. The other electric plug on the trans is the backup lights. You should use the neutral safety switch but it must be wired through a starter interrupt relay, not as the interrupt switch itself.

As for the connecter, don't try to find the other half of the connecter on the trans, cut that one off to expose 2" of wire, buy your favorite weather-proof connecter(you'll get both halves and four terminals to crimp or solder), and solder those terminals onto the wire leads. Attach the other side of the connecter to the chassis wire loom. Polarity does not matter, it's a continuity switch only. And use an interrupt relay, not this switch as the current carrier.
