Question Trunk Support part # needed for EM kit

Have a client of mine building an Everett Morrison 427 Cobra replica, I need to find out what the correct part number is for the gas struts that hold up the trunk lid, as EM wants $65.00 a pair for them, and I believe this to be just a little on the high side. As always, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Bill S.

PS: Client states that they are roughly 11 inches long when open.................

I saw them on the rear window of a late model Toyoto Landcruiser. The owner is out of town for the holidays but I'll check when he gets back. I'm not sure of their length but they are the same make and apparent size.

Thumbs up

The part # is 333-606 for the hood and the trunk is 333-607 they are $58/pair . They look good and work excellent. I don't feel that they take away from the "look". The part is manuf. by Eberhard in Cleveland, OH . The part #is EAA8700-120 for the hood and EAA8350-6o for the trunk. I would bet the E-M doesn't make more than $5 per pair on their mark-up......jason
