JB, I guess it's just a matter of price. I have been told that Olthoff gets around $175 a pair for their adapters and the fellow I work with is sure he can produce a functionally comparable product for significantly less money. I guess only time will tell. We are awaiting a price quote on 3/8" aluminum plate and a project cost quote from the machinist with the CNC machine. Shouldn't be too long now.

Turk Manufacturing! Hell, that's all we need, more Turks! The one we have is already one too many!

Default Pentroofs for small blocks

A friend of mine has a SPF/408W with pentroofs. He specified these valve covers before he took delivery of the car from Dynamic. As far as I know, these valve covers are a direct bolt-on, no adapters needed. I've never looked into it but if someone were interested they might want to check with the folks in Ross, OH.

These valve covers were cast for Ron Rosen by a Guy named Gary Armstrong. ARE racing systems in Calif. They will sell you the powder coated black ones or the sand cast matte alum. ones. about 300.00.
