Default Seats

I have an older EM with original style vinyl seats. The vinyl is sun faded and the seats wheren't very plush to begin with. The wife is complaining that the other cars have nicer interieriors. What is available? are there other seats that look appropriate in a Cobra? That are more supportive?I'm bolted directly to the floor to get the height down, and it fits me great but there is the lower back thing on long drives.Who has done what?I know somebody has gone another way. There is the competition aspect also.

Michael, here's a shot of the Corbeau Classic seats in my Unique. They are comfy, offer good side & back support, and look period.

Thanks for this post, Guys.
Thanks to Roscoe, and his link to Autotoystore, I found exactly the seats I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. They even shipped them the next day. Jim Huston is a great guy, and easy to work with.

I went to SAI this weekend and then Finishline Motorsports down the street. The Shelby seats are Realy tall with the padding in lower seat cushion. Also the lower cushion doesn't lift up for document storage. They had that luxurious look allthough.Didn't get the price.I think the storage under the lower seat cushion is a big thing.I want the lower ride height but side support some side cushioning and leather. The wife is taller than I am and the air over the windsheild has removed many hats.

Michael

You might want to give Mike Kinney a call NOSMotorsports. He has the same seats and is selling them at a discount to Club Cobra Members. I just purchased a set and they are very nice.

He will even adjust the amount of padding of the seat cushion for your height.

Mike
