Question Halibrand Wheel Question...

How can one tell the age of Halibrand Mags ? I have them on the car I just bought and I'd like to know their vintage.. All thats cast into the wheels is Cobra II and halibrand and the size and a 4 digit number which I think is 3004 on the fronts and 3006 on the rears...

Wink

I spoke to Halibrand and learned that wheels numbered before
3007,3008 are sixties era and wheels numbered 3007,3008
are modern wheels. So mine are modern Halibrand Mags.
7.5 in front and 9.5 in the rear.

Fred:

Give me a private message and explain the initials to me. They sound too good to not understand what they mean.

Sorry Jeff, I checked my wheels more closely ( Bifocals on this time) and mine are 3007,3008, respectively so they are the more modern ones...
