In theory, any little bit of cooling you add will help cool the engine down. But it's a band aid, not a fix. And it might cost you more to put in a bigger heater that you don't need rather than a bigger radiator and/or fan that you do need.
(I could rag on you about your cooling issues, like you ragged on me about my radio static; but I won't - this time.)
