Ken,
Ford motorsports makes the spacer you need for the crankshaft Damper. You will have to fabricate an alternator bracket. Or search the junk yards for the correct mount.Perhaps someone else know what year 351 would have the correct alternator brackets. I bought the spacer and adjustable arm and made my own.

Ken;

I have a 351-W in a 65 Mustang,same engine different car but the engine doesn't have to know that.....my alternator is on the upper passenger side.....the top bolt is large and has the aluminum spacer and bolts into the head or rather a bracket on the head if the head does not have the correct hole (most do).This bolt goes thru the top hole on the alternator...The lower bracket is a curved shaped half moon looking thing that bolts to one of the water pump bolts and the alternator then slides on the long slot in the bracket.Very simple and mine came off a 70's Ford p/u with a 302 and no power assc...I have an extra lower bracket or two if you nedd one just holler and I be glad to send you one.....

David

Thanks David.....I'am going to check if the amount that it is out of alignment is fixable with the spacers that motorsports offers first, if not then i might switch to march pulleys.
That will leave me with just the alternator to line up, will let you know about brackets.
