I can't see how the redline would be lower than the max hp. If the max hp is 6250, You can bet the redline is higher than that.
Otherwise, why would you not have a cam that produces a max power at 5800 rpm, 6k rev limit, and more power in the lower rpms?
Either way, if it as my motor, I wouldn't be going over 6k until it was pretty broken in.
