Cooling Question

HEY' GUYS, LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON RADIATORS.

I'M TRYING TO DETERMINE IF A COOLING TANK IS NEEDED ON THE RADIATOR FOR A C6 TRANSMISSION. IF NOT IT WOULD HELP WITH THE OVERALL FIT. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS FOR THE RADIATOR?

I DONT HAVE THE C6 YET BUT HAVE A RELEATIVE HAS A NICE ONE FOR SELL, SO I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS THE WAY I WANT TO GO

Johnny,

You'll definitly need a transmission cooler. One that is built into the radiator would be desirable because the fan would assist cooling. But, if your not using an oil cooler, you can put the tranny cooler in the same location it would occupy, but might have a problem with air flow while not moving. In this case, a oil temp monitor gauge for the tranny might be a wise move.
