You'll definitly need a transmission cooler. One that is built into the radiator would be desirable because the fan would assist cooling. But, if your not using an oil cooler, you can put the tranny cooler in the same location it would occupy, but might have a problem with air flow while not moving. In this case, a oil temp monitor gauge for the tranny might be a wise move.
