in the 15 inch sizes, many folks, including us, run DOT Hoosier's, they make a radial and a bias ply specifically for these cars and the 15 inch rims. Very sticky for track use, I think they are about $180 or so a tire. I have mine on a spare set of Trigo's.
The springs on the car are on threaded shocks, so some adjustment is available right on the car. New SPF's now come with custom calibrated and valved Bilstein shocks. Many of us run our cars on various road and drag courses, and lots of information and experience is available. Many of us have also modifiied our cars, Halon systems, fuel cells, engine, and so forth.
