i am sure this is closely held information, available only to the dealers themselves. I am also pretty sure that all the dealers hold strictly to the "advertised" prices for the "roller." I am not aware of any purchasers paying anything other than list price for the cars.

I do not know if the installation or modification charges are universal, however.

I seem to recall getting a quote for $36,000 for the basic car less engine and trans. That quote came from Dynamic in Ross OH (great people BTW).

I am not aware of anyone getting a break on the price of a roller. If they did , they are not talking. Current price last I checked is $36.9k as Greg stated

Please do not take this the wrong way.........but I do not believe that this information (if even known) should be given up on a public forum such as Club Cobra. I am in sales myself and if my customers knew my bottom line, I probably would not be in business very long.

Superformance makes a great car with even greater people in their dealer network. They are marketing a speciality product with a limited production number, and if we the consumer knew what their cost was, there is a good chance they wouldn't be around long either.

Whatever the price of the rolling chassis is, it is still a bargin.

Brian

p..s I might be wrong........but I doubt it.

The dealer pays a little bit less (couple grand?)than the customer for the rolling chassis, but the profit is found in the engine package sale to the customer. Oh yeah, the add-ons and service too. The dealers are NOT getting rich off SPF's, they do it cause they love it.
