Question Imagine Fuel Injection

Has anyone had any dealings with the company call Imagine Fuel Injection located in AZ? Interested in getting fuel injection (webber style) and wanted some input. Ran a search for Imagine, but only found a few post. Members who commented on those post, I've emailed, but at present time no responses yet. Does anyone know of any other company that offers simlar style injection system? Wanted to go with something wild, a little different rather than the norm of a 4 barrel. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with the 4, its just that I'm no good at TUNING it, so rather go injection with a computer to do all the adjusting for me. I'm sure thats easier said then done, but at least I know more about computers than the intricates of tuning a Holley carburator. HELP Rodney

Talking Imagine injection system

Rodney,

I have an Imagine injection system. I bought it about eighteen months ago. I am happy with it and can tell you volumes about it. I am actually thinking of selling mine though becuase the racing bodies that I want to particpate in don't allow non vintage hardware. Here is a picture of my setup. I use 42 lbs injectors and figure that the engine is putting out about 500 plus horses at the altitude we have here in Colorado. I also get about 17 mpg driving around the city. Not bad for a hot 427 side oiler. You can e-mail me direct at scott@echostar.com if you want more info or want to talk about buying my complete setup.

Scott...

check out the houseofcobras website. They are offering the Hillborn Injection system. That's going to be my next upgrade. Not only it looks great, but adds 75-100 more hp.

Hi Rodney You didn't say what motor you have or how much cam is in it. TWM makes throttle body type webers up to 55mm. Check their web site. I have a fuel injection system in my car. I am going to a TWM when they build the 58mm bodys. If you have the money F.A.S.T or Speed Pro, same company, make a great brain for about 3k. I have 50 lb. injectors on my car and are going to 72 lbs when I turn the boost up past 10 lbs. My engine is 452 FE. 9.2 compression 501-533 comp cam, Shelby all alum. 328rwhp. 430 tork at the rear wheels. Ildes at 750 without the shake. It is the way of the future. My speed-pro is wide 02 sensor, sequential injection, fuel and timing pre cylinder. Hope this helps you Good Luck with your car. Rick Lake

Rodney, can't comment on the performance yet, I'm a couple of weeks away from the install of the Imagine unit on an alunimum BBF. I can tell you that Bob Ream the owner of Imagine is a prince of a fellow. Does what he says, almost on time. Beautiful machine work on all components including air filter and intake.
Shelby had a raw aluminum car powered by a 302 with the Imagine unit at the 2001 Mid America meet in Tulsa. Strange looking car, but the engine compartment was beautiful and it ran like a scalded dog. I was hooked, only on a bb.
