Post Headers Needed

I am looking for a RELIABLE source to mfg a set of stainless headers for a Boss 429 to adapt it to my existing sidepipes. I would prefer not to pull the existing headers as a template, but can if forced. Anybody had a set made with good luck?

Yes, but without your headers or the whole car there, your custom header manufacturer will have a very hard time getting them to fit without hitting everything else under the hood. The best thing to do is just drop the car off at your custom header manufacturer so the pipes fit right. If that's not possible, ship him your pipes and some pictures of underhood. Chances are low that a "reliable" header maker hasn't made a set for an EM cobra with a 429. There just aren't that many of them out there to justify it being a catalog item from any header makers. But good luck anyway, ou may get lucky.

I have a set of 429/460 headers that fit kits with more engine set back than mine has, like FFR or EM.

What kind of difference do the Boss heads have vs. regular 429?

If the pattern is the same, you can borrow my set as a reference to get some made. I think I am only 10-15 miles from Corinth.
