crankcase pulley

I have a 289 in another car and I am trying to remove pulley to install another.
The question is: is it a righty tighty?, if it is: how do I get it off?
the car is in gear, parking break is on, I have two wheels blocked, and it is sliding backward.
I do not want to break anything.

Threads are all the same. Believe these studs are 5/16". Removal should be counter-clockwise, facing the pulley. If they're rusty, use Liquid Wrench (soak for about an hour) then propane torch to heat nuts to remove.

I have discovered in some cases the only answer is an impact wrench. You may need to consider this option. If you don't know someone who has a compressor and impact wrench you may need to rent an electric impact for the day. They will do the job but I have found them not quite as effective as a pneumatic. You don't need the wrench when it comes time to put things back together, you will need to torque this bolt to about 70 to 80 ft/lbs.
