Default Help I D this Master Cylinder

It just blew out. Thankfully, it was in the garage when it gave out. Unfortunately, I do not believe it is what is in the build manual. It’s a Contemporary made by them in 1991.

The question is what is it and where can I by the rebuild kit for it. The only id is on the band around it. It says ¾, which is the bore size. It is for the front wheels and there is a matching one for the rear. Then I have a third that is for the clutch. It says 1 on the band.

Any info would be great.

Thumbs up

Cobraman,
That looks to be an old old version of a tilden MC.
I bet that a newer Tilden 3/4 will fit right in there. You can get the one that has a remote reservoir too. Man those old brake light pressure switches are antiques. If I were you I would eliminate that feature and put an under dash unit in that works when the brake is depressed it releases the switch.

The Tilton cyls come in a kit form in a box w/ every resivoir or attachment needed. They run about $60-$68 .They may not be shown in Jeg's or Summit but they have and will deliver.Just ask. 3/4" sound like a brake master cyl.?

CobraMan -
The photo resembles a cast iron CNC brand master cylinder I bought a few months ago. If yours feels heavy like iron rather than light like aluminum, it is probably a CNC product.

Tommy is right,
It looks to me like the CNC brand, that is if it's steel.
