Default Soft Top Question

I am thinking about installing my soft top, but the rollbar brace penetrates the rear window. I am sure some of you have run into this problem before, so what was your solutions? I know they are not waterproof- just slows water down a little bit. Maybe a picture so I can show my upholstery shop? What looks best? Thanks, David.

Kountzecobra,
I would suggest you talk to SPF owners---those beauties come with a soft-top standard---or at least the Rhode Island dealer told me so. If I recall, the plastic back window is angled so as to avoid the need to penetrate the material. Quite a
few SPF owners have photos on the CC Gallery and there're a couple with the soft top in place. If the photo doesn't show it--e-mail 'em! Good Luck.

I have some good pictures of Cobra tops that cover the roll bar brace. What I am looking for is what to do when the brace runs through the top or rear window. I have seen others like this, but I don't remember the details. Thanks, David.

try this one.

Its a beautiful Kirkham, the pic with the soft-top is a little small though.

Cheers!
Jim

Put that soft top away, you have a roadster, get used to it.
