Question Sheet Metal Brakes

Any suggestions on the best all around sheer/brake setup for auto interior and engine compartment bending?

Maybe something from Harbor Freight?

Thanks!

Neal,
You might want to watch the auction ads in your local paper and try to score a nice used one.

Neal,
I found a 6' for $695 at www.midamericanonline.com. It's not a shear, but a chalk line and a pair of large hand shears works for me.

Neal,
I have had some success with this machine.
http://www.grizzly.com/products/item...011&startrow=1

Costs about $300.00 and is a combination brake, slip roll and sheer.

I also bought a bead roller form harbour freight for about a 100 bucks on sale.

Thanks, Guys! I am checking with Harbor Freight and some local sources.

Roger, How wide is the combo unit you have? Your work looks great!

Neil,
The combo I have the 30" wide . Seems to be just about right for doing interior work. I highly reccommend the bead roller, it reall "dresses up " the work.

How is the Cheeta coming along .. any pictures.
Roger
