Help from Texas Members

Guys,
I am a Texas resident but serving in the Air Force in Las Vegas. So I’m trying to figure out if it would be better to register my Superformance in Texas verses all the Bull $hit you have to go through here in Las Vegas. Nevada still does not know how to deal with these / hand built cars.
So if anyone is familiar with registering a Cobra in TX please fill me in on all the details and steps I would need to take. This will help me determine which will be a better option.

Monty, not familiar with Nevada registration stuff, but I'd recommend registering it in Texas...no real hassles, and it's already registered here when you get out of the USAF. Do a search here on Club Cobra, lotsa threads on TX registration, no real big deal. Good luck!

Forgive me CC members but I am about sin! I have tried for several weeks to find a way to post a message and finally stumbled on this and I'm gonna post it here even if I get tarred and feathered. I am obviously a new guy so be kind! I need to do a lot of homework before I make a decision on which manufacturer to buy from. Any suggestions? Any ideas? Anything? HHHHEEEEPPPPPP!!!!!

CW, man that question could be/has been the subject of books, and many posts here on CC...depends on what you want when you finish, how much ya got to spend, maybe where you live, how good a mechanic you are, etc., etc., etc. You can be looking at maybe low 20K to above $60K...you're on the right track, do a lot of research, go to some of the local club meets and make up your mind. Kountzecobra is close to you, and he says there are a couple other cobra owners in the area, email him and take a look at his, he's got a very nice example.

I registered a newly constructed ERA car in Texas a couple years ago and it was very simple. If I remember correctly, all that I had to provide was a title from the State of Alabama (procured through Titles Unlimited), proof of insurance and a Texas safety inspection certificate.
