Default Is Velcro like Duct Tape?

As if I didn't have enough Cobra-related trauma, I popped off my AC insignia steering center cap to check the steering nut and in the process broke one of the little retaining tabs. I plulled out my trusty Finishline catalog - $55? HOLY MOLEY! I slapped a little Velcro on it......perfect! At least that's one step above chewing gum.

Thumbs up

Tony,
That stuff is one of the best inventions ever for holding things together. I epoxied industrial velcro under the dash on the firewall and stuck the other side to my fuse panel. This makes it
so easy to get to and work on. It also saves from puttin
holes through the firewall. It's been on there for 13yrs now and it is still going strong. I also used it to hold the motec unit in place on my RFGT40.

The velcro 'hook' side sticks really well to my carpet.

I've been meaning to stick some Velcro "hook" onto the back of my cell phone and garage door opener so I can just slap them onto the tranny tunnel while driving. I never thought about the fuse box... good idea.

Keith,
Also...sunglass case, GPS. I have a small flat nylon bag I use for toll change that I stick behind the seat on the rear wall.

I could see this getting out of hand... before long the Cobra's cockpit starts looking like my refridgerator door!

Default VELCRO

This is getting off that subject a little .

I was curious to know if any of you have ever heard of or tried
a product call COOLchem?

It is reportedly the next best thing to super glue!
An epoxy that wil bond just about anything!
I have not tried it myself but it looks to be a great product.
