Question Fuel Filler Hose - Where to buy??

I need some 2" diameter fuel filler hose to conect the tank to the LeMans gascap. All the local auto parts stores I've checked so far just give me a dumb look then tell me that's a dealer part. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Pete

Most parts stores around here carry this type of hose. Maybe you will have to try a truck parts supplier or an industrial hose and fitting supplier. Surely anyone that carries Gates or another brand name hose can get it for you.

Cool I am doing a 4 x 4 restoration project..

And I found the local heavy (commercial) truck supply has it, with the stainless steel re-inforcing coil in the hose...it's great stuff, about $1.00 per inch tho.. cut the hose with a hacksaw, and the then-exposed wire with bolt cutters.

A local marine store should have it, a store that sells speed parts, also mail order from

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com
http://www.racerpartswholesale.com

And many others.

I ordered a foot of the stuff when I ordered the LeMans (actually, it's called the Aston Roller Latch) gascap from europaspares.com. It wasn't particularly expensive. Would think this would be a NAPA part.

Shell Valley carries the hose you are looking for. It is part number 3041h112 and lists for $18.00 on their web site. www.shellvalley.com

Got mine from the local NAPA store. Just ask for 2" dia. fuel hose. It was $12.00 a foot. Pretty stiff hose, easier putting on when over 75 degrees ambient.
