Funny how life works...

I'm the same age as your son in law Jack21.. My father in law gave me the money to get into my Contemporary.. A good "investment" I told him.. I gave him the first not so fast ride and the only thing that kept him off the floorboard was the lack of room.. and the 3" wide lap belt.. lol.. We got back and I offered to let him drive.. He had to think about it.. But he did.. I think he thought he had to.. I always offer to let him drive.. He always declines..

I told him about the 427 Side Oiler going in.. He just kind of looked at me like I was speaking in to him in greek.. "a good investment".. I told him.. He just smiled..

Scobrac,,,,,that decreasing radius off camber turn with the rock wall on one side and the fence on the other......

That's GOT to be the same turn I rolled my 63 Impala on when I was 18 or so! It took two more cars and two more roll overs for me to slow down (slow learner).

Smile Have you heard of Performance Engineering?

Stu,

Since you are in the research stage, I recommend that you give Eric Hinderberg (Performance Engineering) a call at (513) 738-5001. He is located in Ross, Ohio.....close to where I live, in fact.

Eric will build you a fine custom engine and stand behind it with a warranty. I'm speaking from personal experience because Eric built my 351-W.

You probably have questions. Feel free to e-mail me and let's talk.

Tom

Cool lol..

It may have been.. Dang rock walls look pretty much the same at 70 mpg going sideways..

I think recent events on the east coast in which a "seasoned" Cobra driver lost control going into an oncoming car of teenagers killing himself and his passenger serve to remind us life is too fragile and short to be screwing around with small block power..
