Default love them brakes!!!!!but which to pick????

i haven't built my car yet, but i figured what's the point of goin really fast if ya can't stop to tell about it so.......
i plan on building a kit cat from shell valley, which offers a mustang II spindle and a 9" big bearing new style rear end.......i don't think the breaks that comes with the kit are appropriate so now i'm looking for aftermarket stopping power...... i believe i'm goin to go with wilwood breaks all around which offers 4-piston and slotted and drilled rotors the part # for the front is 140-7017-BD and the rear is 140-7140 BD......i can pick up the front kit for $739 and the rear for $718 w/ parking break........now i'm askin is this a good deal worth the extra $ for stopping power and looks, or will the breaks that come with the kit all i need??????if anyone else out there put these breaks or other kinds of performance on their car please contact me so i can make a better decision........any help would greatly help!!!
thanks
Jason

Talking Don't believe everything you read

If you are coming into a 90 degree turn at 120 mph+ and your decide to wait until the last 50 feet to brake the best brakes in the universe won't help you. How are you going to drive the car?
I saw your post about what engine you wanted to buy- it sounds like you are trying to make a lot of decisions in a short period of time, without any real assistance from a knowledgeable Cobra owner(s). The 351 W is a good choice as are the Wildwood brakes. Your can probably get more HP with less money. I would spend some time around a local Cobra club, talk with its members, take a ride in a few cars. I have spent months weighing the pros and cons of every change I wanted, and I'm still asking questions on this web site, as well as all the local speed oriented local shops.

Good luck with whatever car/ equipment you decide upon.

Harris

Jason,
What size rims will you run? They are a limiting factor as to how big the rotors can be.
Steven
I looked in the wilwood site, ran a search. it does not recognize the part #s you have....

Hi Jason,
Go to Ebay and do a search on Mustang II. Last time I looked the Wilwood kit was going for about $100 less.

Question

Jon,
Which kit are you refering to? Wilwood makes more than one for the mustang II spindles.
