Lakewood Dust cover?

Does anyone know if someone makes a dust cover that covers the hole in a lakewood bellhousing that the throw out fork goes through?

Thanks,
Mike

I hope so.....

Mike,

I've searched and haven't found anyone. I thought someone might make a rubber boot, but no go so far. I hope this thread is productive, I'd like to find one too. If not, guess I'll have to fab some aluminum and drill & tap for some screws.

By the way, what engine do you have, the 385 series (460 family) or FE (427 family)?

Cover plate

guy's i made a peice out of stainless steel which is formed to fit tightly to the contour of the bell housing. drilled two holes in the center for the 45 and 90 degree -4 bulk head fittings which hold the -4 braided lines firmly in place. the plate is fastened to the scatter sheild with four stainless steel button head bolts. looks very tidy with no chance the braided lines could wonder into the rotating assembly. hope this helps
