Question 302 fuel injection conversion

Hi there, I've built a cobra kit car and have installed a 91 302 motor out of a mustang. I tried using the fuel injection system but wasn't quite able to get it to run 100%. I switch it to a carb, but want to convert it back to the fuel injection system. I have the complete wirring harness. I believe my problem lies somewhere in my wirring connections. I've found a site but it refers to a 88 wirring schematic which seems to be a little different then the 91. If anyone has some advice or knowledge, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks Ryan.

Question Sites for 302 FI conversions?

<< I've found a site but it refers to a 88 wirring schematic >>

Could you provide the web address for the site you mention here. I'm looking for any information I can find to do a conversion myself.

I'm looking at using a fuel injected 302 from a 1986 Grand Marquis. I know I'll need things like the fuel pump, O2 sensor, wiring harness and computer, but I would like more information before I start the process.

Thanks, Bob

Default 302 efi conversion

The 88 wire harness does not include the wiring for mass air. It will work but you'll need the mass air wire conversion. You can purchase the kit from summit....for only about 25.00....

Here's a site with the info you're looking for - Mustang Wiring Diagrams

EDIT: Just noticed the Q was asked back in June

Kinda off the subject, I know, but I've got a related question.....Ok, I'm building an engine for my Mustang, and found a Cobra motor to put in it and figured I would just finish it out with all Cobra electronics. The only problem is, I need a mass air meter. I wanted to find one at a parts house thats been remanufactured, but I don't know the Ford part number for the Cobra mass air. Any suggestions?
