For what it's worth, I'm using the Stainless Steel Brakes (SSB) Force 10 front brake kit for the MII front suspension.
The kit uses 11" Grenada rotors, a custom caliper bracket, and a licensed from Kelsey Hayes newly manufactured 4 piston caliper originally used on the '66 Mustang GT's and Shelby GT350's. They have several brake pad options, and you might want to use similar pads front and rear. I'm using OEM type semi-metallics front and rear as car is only street driven. Upper and lower control arms are tubular, and I retained the strut rod.
The rear disks are the SVO Mustang rear disk brake conversion kit which uses T-Bird turbo coupe 10" rotors and single piston calipers.
The car has no stopping problems from any speed. Have had it up to 130 setting the front to rear bias.
That being said, the brakes were installed when the plan was to use 15" wheels. At the last minute, 17's were installed, and those 11" fronts, and 10" rears do look miniscule inside the wheelwells. If there is any way to convince you to try a set of 17's, you'll never go back to 15" tires on a Cobra. Entirely different car. Bear makes a nice setup for MII fronts using 13" rotors and two piston calipers, and 12" rear rotors for Ford 8.8 that fit 17" wheels just fine.
