Tyre combinatios
I have been thinking about tyre combinations for track work. I recently changed tyres from 75 series to 50 series and got more acceleration because of the smaller rear wheel size. Everyove keeps saying that you can't get a really good performance tyre unless you go to 17" rims.
Why can't you run 17" fronts with really good rubber to manage the turning part & drop down to a 13" rim on the back to gain some better ratio for power to ground? Iknow it would look really lame but is my theory sound?
Any ideas?
