Default Who Makes The Best Electric Fan?

Greetings,
I'm currently running a 16" Spal "pusher" fan in front of my radiator. This fan definitely keeps my Cobra running cool. The needle stays at 160 and doesn't move.
That's the good news.
The bad news is the noise. Jeez. . . . The high pitched whine of this fan is driving me crazy.
Which manufacturer of electric fans are you guys using? Why? Straight blades or curved? Is Spal known for being loud? Are there fans that are known for being quiet (yet effective)? Help!
Many thanks for your input.
Best wishes,
Alan in Los Angeles

Alan, I (and others in this area) am running a Spal 16" puller with curved blades as well as the two decorative 9" pushers. I can't hear any of them running unless the engine is stopped. Mine is the low profile fan.

Same as Tony, all I hear is the air when I'm next to the fan and a small hum.

I've got a Spal on my Lister. Between the sidepipes, the gear drive, and the straight-cut gears in the M22 tranny, I don't hear the fan unless the car's not running.

Mine is the 16" low-profile unit, also.
