Default cobra discs and brake calipers and 750 carb question

im looking at this set from ford for my ffr kit can i find it cheaper anywhere else and is it worth it. it doesnt seem too expensive from ford at $2100.00

http://www.performanceparts.ford.com...tKeyField=1791

I recently got a good deal on a holley 750 carb (vaccum seconday, not double pumper) and a typhoon duel plane intake. tell me the good bad ugly of putting this set up on my near stock 302.

750 carb might be a little too much for a near stock 302, but I'm not an expert.
Playing the devil's advocate here:
Are you planning on running 17"+ wheels? If not that kit won't fit any smaller wheel, I don't think, due to disc dia. and backspace, Will you have at a minimum the required 5.75 backset to clear steering, frame , body Etc.?

Good price on the complete kit though for all 4 wheels.

A 750 is WAY to big for a stock 302. A 600 is about as big as you should go even if you juice up the 302 a bit.

I've seen that kit adv. elsewhere for with in a $100-150 . not much variance on the price--sounds like a good buy

i found the kit on summit racing for 1700 and bought it. I will let you know the specs and i will keep you all posted on the good bad and ugly of changing the old 4 lug to the new 5 lug cobra. i also got my 18x 9 fr500 rims today(THEY ARE AWSOME) and cant wait to mount them on the 5 lug discs.
