Fogging Gauges

Hi guys,

I'm running SW gauges and I had the Cobra out for the first time this year yesterday.

I noticed that the dash gauges began fogging up.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so what was the fix?

SWs here. Same problem Tony. I'll be watching the posts.
I've learned to ignore it.
Enjoy the ride.

Fogging

Hi Phillip,

What about constructing some kind of heat shield directly behind the gauges?

Tony:

We addressed this matter on another thread pertaining to Smith gauges. You might want to take at look at that thread.

Mine did the samething too. Just drive the thing and after awhile the glass will clear. I replaced the 20 YOA electric gauges with mechanicals a few years ago, and these don't fog up. The old fuel level gauge is the only one left, and it fogs up.
