Default Carrera '03 engine: will it fit?

I have "inherited" a '03 Porsch Carrera engine block, i am wondering, will it fit on the same frame as a 428 or will i need to costom build it?

J,
I don't know if it will fit or not but having previoulsy been into Porches I can tell you that will not be a cheap engine to put together if you only have a case. Also, what trans would you mate it up with?? If you head down that path I live just around the corner from you and would be very curious to see how it all goes together.
Good Luck, Steve

It's a straight bolt in. This is a swap that is so obvious that it surprises me that NO ONE has ever even thought of doing it before.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Well if you put it up front instead of back you could have a front wheel drive Cobra. Oh wait,,,,, steering.

OK, so put all that steering stuff in the back instead and steer from the rear!

Non FORD Powered COBRAS should not even be discussed, much less built!

Personally I'm tired of people building Frankenstein Cobras. Don't ask for respect when you blatently disrespect the spirit of this car.

I have a D6 Caterpillar motor with hydrostatic transmission...should I put the blade on the front of the car, or on the back?
