Default Fuel Smell

Guys,
Please see my fuel setup in the enclosed picture.
I can detect an "Old" fuel smell from the trunk. I can't find any leaks and I'm puzzled where the smell is coming from.
Not included in the picture is the fill tube from the gas cap to the cell or the vent tube that exits to the filler tube.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Roger

My guess would be the vent tube to the filer. Its open to prevent a vacuum from building up, right? Lots of us have this problem.

Holley shipped my fuel components with diesel fuel in them to avoid drying out, if no "new" fuel has been run thru it could you possibly be smelling that?
