Back Up light Switch

Does anyone know of a source for universal back light switch kits. I have a Richmond Gear 5 speed that I want to wire for a back-up light just in case the DMV requires it. Richmond doesn't carry one, nor the usual sources like Pep Boys etc. I know I could fabricate the brackets and buy an OEM switch somewhere, but I rather not bother if I could just but the setup. DMV require? The brake n light guy may....but if he does go somewhere else.
It is not required on our "replicas" just as a third brake light is not.

As Curtiss stated, a back up light is not needed.
If you still want one, Hurst sells a kit that will bolt to your Richmond shifter without too much difficulty.

Tom my Richmond box came with a ball type switch & a plain plug Could use either one fits in the back half belive and one of the sliders hits it I belive.
