Question What rocker arms from kirkham?

Gents,
What brand rocker arms do the Kirkhams reccomend in their 427's? and where do they get them? I know I could call them, but I want to try to get the answer here first so I don't bother them.
Steve
P.S.
any other thoughts or reccomendations you have about rocker assemblies are certainly welcome
Thanks!
PPs,
I am using new Edelbrock heads on the 427

The best answer you can get would be directly from the Kirkhams over on the manufacturer's section of this forum. What makes you think you are bothering them? That's why they make themselves available to us on Club Cobra. They welcome questions about their product and are more than happy to answer.

Bump,
I didn't want to call them on the phone. I totally forgot about their forum. I'm on my way over there now.
Thanks

My understanding from the engine builders we have used are the T&D rockers are the best and $$. However they do require machining on the head (more $$). We have also used the Shelby (very nice), Comp Cams (Dove), Harland Sharp, Crane (cast iron), and Ford Power Parts (also very nice). The only problems we have had is with old worn out stock rocker arm having the adjusting screw backing out. This problem has been solved by Ford Power Parts and their slightly oversize adjuster screws. My suggestion is to use whatever your engine builder reccomends.

Smile

Thomas,
I have a brand new set of Ford 427 rockers and shafts that I have held onto since I was a kid. I wish I had a buck for every time someone asked me why I kept that "old junk"
If there are no other known problems using them, My engine builder (me) is going to give them the thumbs up.
Thank you,
Steven
