I've never seen "new" Blue Streaks with the blue line. As a matter of fact, they only ones I've seen with the blue line were REAL originals, that were still on the cars they came on. The also have a different look than the current Blue Streaks, with a bit smaller "GoodYear" writing, and no "Eagle" anywhere on the tire like the originals. I don't think you'll find any tires with the blue line, but that's not to say you can't add it on yourself.

Of course I don't claim to be an expert and could be 100% wrong about it, these are just my observations .

Here is a great shot of an original type, credit goes to the CSXinfo site:

My understanding is,
The tires often referred to as Blue Streaks" are the tires also known as Rain Tire, or the Sportsman Tires.
They are of an exceptional softer compound. They appear not to be available any longer (not around here anyways).
I bought mine from Roger Krouse Racing, and from what I read here others are having a problem getting them.

I asked the same question regarding the blue streaks. I was given the above explanation.
If anyone knows for sure, I can stand corrected.

I also have seen blue streaks on a Cobra. Blue lines. I thought they were more decorative, than type of tires. They looked nothing like my tires.
What am I missing?

What???

Don't the blue streaks come with a blue line??

When I first found the tyre on Goodyear's site , it thought it was an exact replica of the original ones. I have later found the text to deviating...

So what's the purpose of making these wheels then?

And what does the name "blue streaks" mean?

A1 information Power Surge!!!

Best regards

PS showed the wheels on CSX3042. Those are Goodyear Blue Streak Speedway Specials.... i believe, sadly, long out of production.

The Blue Streak name is a legacy, and today doesn't mean it comes with a 'blue streak'

I recall a member using a blue paint stick on his newer GY tires... think he has an FIA car.
