Flat spots on tires

Unfortunately, I will have to put the Cobra into hibernation for the winter months soon.

This will be the third winter for it, and I'm looking for some feedback on how others keep their cars over the winter. (All you Calf. and Southern folks keep quiet!).

I have the big letter Good Years and know that over a 4-month period, they will lose some air pressure, and will get flat spots.

What is better for the car - lift it up and rest the frame on jack-stands and have the suspension drop & hang, or leave it on the ground under it's own weight, and deal with the flat spots in the Spring?

I noticed during my build (about five months) that my tires/tyres flat spotted a bit. However, I found once I was out on the road for a day that fixed things.

I have also had the car up on four stands and found that once lowered there appeared no obvious adjustment or settling was evident.

Have you got enough room to move the Cobra forward and back every now and then in your garage..

Would personally hate to have to park and leave my Cobra for any length of time. Guess I'm in an area a bit like Cal.



Sorry don't know much about the Good Year big letter tires/tyres. I have the B. F .Goodrich - TA's x 15" on 10" and 8"'.
