Mine is on a 427. MSD is the best investment you can make in a Ford. The standard distributor bushings are prone to excessive run out. The MSD distributor makes it a non issue. As for the ignition box. Best investment you'll ever make. The 6AL can be had for less than $200. and will improve power and perforamnce on any level of engine you have from bone stock to 1000 hp.
