Oil Leak Detector Dye
Has anyone here used an oil leak detector dye? I have a small but somewhat annoying oil leak that I want to fix. Every time I park it, I leave about a dime size oil puddle behind. While that's not horrible, it does tend to make a mess of the underside of the car over time.
I've been researching oil dyes on the internet and while the dyes are not very expensive the UV and blue lights that they sell are. I already have an ordinary flourescent type "black light." Does anyone know if one of these black lights will work or do I need to invest the bucks and buy one of the lights that they sell with the oil dye?
