Default Radiator Caps

Does anyone know where I can get a radiator cap with a Sacrificial Anode? Purchased one from a company called Advanced Speciality Products of Newcastle, CA. but it appears they are no longer in business.

When dropped in your catch tank it takes the electrical charge out of the water created by the different metals ie iron block, aluminum heads ect.

Thanks Rick for the address, I ordered two today. Rick Parker gave me this phone number--209-521-9400--ask for pho or Bob and mention Rick's name when you order. They are about $20 each.

I have on in my present car, which has distilled water, anti-freeze, and water wetter in it. It's about six months old and I pulled it out this past weekend for the firast time. I was shocked at the amount of salts present on the anode and was really sold on the idea of the sacrificial anode where you have an iron block and aluminum heads etc. It should extend the life of my aluminium radiator greatly as this is usually the place where the first leaks appear.

Guys. A friend of mine owns the business and he (Bob) is the most stand up guy in this type of business that I have ever met. I frequent the shop for all but the simplest of bits. I get nothing from this, I just wanted to recomend a source that I knew could help Bill. It's a full line retail speed shop, with a 2 man in house EXCELLENT machine shop in Central Ca.

Rick is right, Bob is also a friend of mine and an engine builder like you wouldn't believe, always alot of help and can seem to get just about anything you could ever need or want.
