Default new problem...please help

because of the wheel almost comming off while driving, it sheared all but one lug nut stud.....i obviously cant drive it to a shop, nor can i have it towed as it sits......Im afraid the hub the lug nut studs are on maybe warped, how do i get this off....this a Jag rear end, i have no idea what year, i believe its a XKE rear end. I have pics, can someone give me guidence on how to tackle this. Any repair manuals that maybe of use to me?....I have pics of the hub, any part vendors out there i maybe able to use?...

once it's home and secure remove the shaft from center section to that carier, Keep track of the shims ,that determines the camber of that rear wheel.A s I remember the stub axle can be removed from the carrier. I wouldn't recamend hammering the old studs out while on the carrier.It is an alluminum housing and there are bearings involved. I'd take that stub axle to an auto parts storet with machine shop.buy the studs and let them removethe old destroid studs and install new stud bolts. It shudn't take more that hand tools to remove the stub axle Wrenchec snap ring pliers and a brass drift punch and hammer. Watch the seal and gasket .If uncertain replace them now.

If parts are a problem consult CWI ,They are out here in Washington state.They have a website and have lots of stuff for Jag rears.

The studs in the Jag hubs are threaded in and peaned over on the back side. Take a grinder and grind the backside flush and the studs will unscrew. ( you may have to use some penetrating fluid and say a few magic words, but they will come out) That's how I removed mine.

I am not sure how you would shear all the studs but one unless you had some loose nuts. The Jag stud is made from good material and is very strong and as Michael said the stock jag studs screws into the wheel flange up to a shoulder and are then peened on the back and can be chore to remove. I have a program for my cnc that drills out the originals and counter bores to take standard Dormer press in wheel studs.
