XKE JAG HP Brake Calipers
Gentlemen; I need some advice on the best set of High Performance brake calipers to get for my Jag Torsion bar front suspension on my Contemporary Cobra frame. The mounting spread is 3.5" and the Vented Rotor is a XKE Series 3 - 11.125" in Dia and about 1" in thickness. I have thought about Superlites but they do not have Dust seals on the pistons (For road use). This is kinda important because if you use "Race brakes" like superlites on the street, first of all IF you get into a accident and "They" see those calipers - it can void your insurance because they are not DOT legal. The second negative point is that upon the necessary Vehicle inspection that everyone must go through - if they again spot those calipers - BIG "X" on the Pass - Fail form.Who makes a good set of Calipers atleast 4 Piston and fit the Jag Uprights. Please respond to me at work: SCHULZ.MR@FORCES.GC.CA Thankyou...Mike
