Default Idle Temperature....

Ok, had the Cobra idling in the driveway today for a solid 60 minutes.

I have a 180 degree thermostat in the 302ci and the fan is a puller on the backside of the radiator.

She hovers between 195 and 210 degrees and 14psi for the full 60 minutes. She never got any hotter then this.

So, does this sound about right, or is she running a little too hot for idle?

Was the fan cycling? My 429 runs 190ish with the fan cycling on and off.

I had to up the fan back to the 18 inch to get the 190ish and cycling.

But, what you have sounds okay, provided the fan was cycling and it was hot outside.
