Scott;
While my car is a 65 Mustang,it should not be much different.........I also use a Kirkey alum. high back racing seat,I prefer about a 10 degree or less layback,I like my seat sitting more upright than most,suggest you try many different setting to see what is the most comfortable for you..........I also prefer to bolt my seat in and not use any seat adjusters,just set it for yourself and forget about it...........One old time driver gave me this tidbit,temparerly mount your seat,get in it and fully buckle up,stretch out your arms/hands to the top of the steering wheel,your wrists just be on the top and your hands kinda hang over the edge towards the windshield,all assuming you can reach the pedals,adjust from there.............
2 other hints,if you are going to spend any amount of time in a racing seat,add more padding to it,they are not very well padded and are not that comfy,I went to Wal Mart and bought some of that egg-crate looking foam and cut it out to the seat,added one layer to the back and sides and 2 layers to the bottom........................also use top grade bolts with big washers/lock washers/ and those nuts with the plastic do-hicky in them,so they do not fibrate lose...........................
