Aluminum Vs Fiberglass
Since Im building an aluminum car Im trying to figuire out what the final weight savings is going to be. I think Im going for the Pond Aluminum block, Dove Aluminum High Rise heads, Aluminum highrise intake, radiator. Maybe even an Aluminum Flywheel and Trans. Anyone finish a Kirkham or equivalent aluminum car and know its final weight, and weight distribution? Id also like to hear from those who can tell me the differnce in handling from a lighter front end? Any problems I might run into etc? Thanks. You guys make this challenge a whole lot easier.
