Installing tubular control arms for stock Mustang II

I am changing stock Mustang II control arms to tubular. Installing the Speedway 1" narrowed upper and lower control arms. There is no provision for the anti-sway bar or the struts. Am I missing something here? Will I have to purchase an adaptor kit to install these or do I not need them with the tubular control arms? Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.

The MII arms are available in 2 common styles. One uses a strut and mount for the lower. The other adds a gusset to the back of the crossmember for the triangulated style a-arms.

Hi Bill. I too am installing those Speedway a-arms and you are right, there is no provision for a sway bar mount. Like a lot of things on our cars you will have to find a sway bar that might fit width wise and fab a couple of u-brackets to fasten to the lower a-arm for the link to mount to.
Once I get mine on, in the next couple of weeks, I will measure the width and start contacting, probably street rod suppliers who deal with the Mustang II front suspensions a lot and ask them if they have a sway bar for a 2" (1" per side) narrower track.

I also need to get some a arm that are narrowed, but not 1". Thats too narrow for my cross member, its a classic roadster, at 1" they would hit at the top. does anyone know who makes them 1/2" to 5/8" narrowed? NOSLOW

Out of curiosity why go to narrowed A arms on a MII suspension? I could see it being used on a street/hot rod or something.
Or is it to get rid of the strut rods?

I used the Speedway MII A arms for use with the strut rods and sway bar on my car...and so far no regrets, handles quite well.

Just wanted to know the reasoning?

I bought mine from a company called "Spartan Rod Works". They were narrowed 5/8" for extra tire width. The guy who owns the shop has a CMC Cobra, so I was reasonably confident they would work.

These arms are heavy duty. Just tell them what type of suspension you have (spring, coilover etc.) and they will build to suit. Takes about 2 weeks.

I mounted the sway-bar links to the lower a-arm shock thru bolt on my Speedway lower a-arms. I just posted a couple of pics of my sway bar and link mock-up on my gallery. Take a look.
I used a MGB 7/8" front sway bar and the width, approx 36 1/4" eye to eye and with a 7" arm. Worked perfectly for my application.
