Good info Dave,thanks.

Dumb question : Wouldn't you still be trying to draw thru 3/8" ? I think I'm misunderstanding something.

I went with the Holly 110gph mechanical on my 392W because I could not find a place I liked to mount an electric. On the BDR there isn't much room between the tank and other interferences to mount, let alone get a drill in there. I believe the wiring for their pump goes to the right wheel well opening. Did not want it there.

Hey Wayne, I'll be down in /Brawley/El Centro this coming week......Can you turn down the temp a bit?

3/8" pipe is different from 3/8" tubing.. Pipe's measure ID (inside diameter), tubing's measured OD (outside diameter). The 3/8"MPT x 8AN fitting will give you full flow for your 8AN/1/2" system. You'll be fine..

Running the Holley red pump, (on my second one) - the only reason I put in an electric one was that Everett-Morrison has a provision for one in their stock wiring harness.

I'm not entirely comfortable with it since it doesn't currently have any type of oil pressure cut off switch. Will probably change to a mechanical pump this year.
