Default Accelerator pump squirter

In an attempt to reduce an off idle hesitation condition I increased the accelerator squirters from #25 to #31 for the Holley. There are 3 different models and of course the one I had (#25) is different from the one at the parts store (#31). The #31 has 2 little nozzles that look pressed into the main body of the squirter. It works and seems to have helped the condition I was trying to fix. Here is my question...are those 2 little nozzles prone to come loose with engine vibration? Are they a big stupid no-no to you motor heads? Any help or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I never had the nozzles come loose.
You should also try changing the pump cam, that will give you noticeable improvement.

I have used them for several years without any issues. They will allow fuel to be pulled from the main well at WOT to richen the mixture a little, the type without the brass nozzels will not.

I did the same swap.

I do not think I have ever heard of anyone reporting those coming loose or off. I did know a guy who had one plug, but he was doing some things to the carb and messed it up.

Fastrods I did go through quite a few cams. Found the big lobed brown one worked the best and decided a better squirt might help too. It did. Thanks again.
